A global professional services firm is now looking to appoint an AD of HR Systems to join their London office. Reporting into the Global Head of HR Operations, this newly created role will be responsible for the portfolio of applications and processes managed by the Global HRIS team, in partnership with the shared services teams and the aligned HR operations team. Key duties will be to act as the face of HRIS to the wider HR function and the business and lead a team of product owners/functional specialists and oversee the HRIS development team, defining and prioritising activity in line with business and functional strategy. Part of this development will be to lead a strategic HRIS review to ensure the firm has a technology road map to best support colleagues throughout the employee journey, whilst leveraging the best in cloud technology, providing flex and scale to quickly adopt new data tools. You will set the long- and short-term goals for HRIS, including for system builds, data flows and security, and advise on process, operations and reporting and analytics dependencies. The role will lead a significant team and will have 5 direct reports and a further 11 indirect reports. As a result, the firm is looking to meet candidates with significant experience in leading HR Systems development and adoption, both as a technical SME, but also as a thought leader, strategic influencer and figurehead of a global HR Systems team. You will have in-depth knowledge of the services of HR Operations and be able to apply your professional knowledge to deliver transformation and business performance enhancement, using this knowledge to develop a strategic approach to delivery of HRIS products and services to the People function and wider business community. It is essential you possess strong knowledge and understanding of: Emerging Technology Monitoring, Requirements Definition & Management, UAT, People Data Management including HR Database Design and Administration.
