We are currently working with an exciting global FMCG producing household names in the healthcare and nutrition products to hire a Head of Learning & Development. This role will lead a small L&D team and be responsible for driving the UK & Ireland development strategy working closely with global talent partners and the wider people function to build and deliver on a full service, globally aligned, learning and development offering for all levels within the organisation.
The Head of Learning will need to work closely with the global group finction to align local and regional strategy and ensure that the UK & Ireland processes, policies and procedures are consistent. They will then need to take a creative and innovative approach to projects such as how the organisation is delivering its graduate level training offerings, designing bespoke market specific development programmes, supporting the business to identify and assess competencies and combat skills gaps, partnering with leadership to provide a range of coaching and leadership development opportunities, succession planning and creating and developing personal development plans.
Successful candidates will need to have experience designing, developing and delivering learning programmes for a variety of functions, markets and though a range of channels. Experience operating within a large, matrix environment is also key as it the ability to lead an L&D team and engaged with all levels within an organisation.
