Reporting into the Head of Shared Services this role will manage a team of 15 and will have accountability for the leadership and delivery of a customer centric end to end HR Administration service.
As the HR Shared Services Leader, you will provide a positive employee experience, providing empathy, advice, guidance and interpretation on all employment related policies, conditions of employment and procedures. You will be responsible for accurately maintaining data held across the core HR and payroll systems. You will work collaboratively with external payroll providers to ensure national and international payroll requirements are accurate and achieved to deadline. You will provide outstanding customer service by ensuring agreed SLA's, KPI's and quality measures are met through effective management and prioritisation of workload. You will Identify and drive improvements to policy or processes to enhance employee experience, taking the lead on appropriate HR or business-related projects or initiatives to enhance the Shared Services offering.
This is a hands-on role where you will be working in a fast paced, unionised environment; so, you need to be confident dealing with a wide range of stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you would have worked within an HR Operations/HR Shared Services environment and preferably for a matrix organisation, you would have managed a team that delivers service to a business or function and be an experienced leader who is able to coach individuals/teams for high performance. You will understand the importance of the employee experience, relationship management and role model an excellent customer service mindset in an HR service environment. You understand and are experienced in the operational delivery of HR Shared Services and can demonstrate strong delivery against performance targets set. You will be self-motivated and resilient who can embrace change, influence, and make commercial decisions while working with a can-do attitude and understand how the activities within HR services will impact the wider organisation.
