We are currently working for a multinational technology firm headquartered in Germany, operating globally and looking for a Manager, People Operations (f/m/d) to join their People Solutions team in their Berlin office.
You will Lead a team of 3-4 people who are the first point of contact for the employees to advise on policies, procedures, and usability of the internal HRIS system (Workday) and who are responsible to provide support in answering key queries (via the internal ticketing system JIRA) to ensure a best-in-class employee experience
You will collaborate closely with other People Operations teams (e.g. Talent Acquisition and People Business Partners) as well as other stakeholder groups (e.g. Legal and Payroll) in order to establish and/or improve operational processes and ensure stakeholder alignment
You and your team will support with leading and/or participating in new projects to scale the Support function (including compliance and self-service initiatives)
You and your team will provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support to the global People Operations colleagues in brands around the world to enable self-service locally and to ensure their ability to support their employees in the regions
At least 5 years of experience in the People Operations space
At least 2 years of experience leading high-performing and diverse teams
You are a strategic thinker and have an ability to understand business interdependencies
You are a People Leader that encourages and promotes employee growth and development
You are results-driven, resourceful, pragmatic, you can identify problems and find solutions
You have excellent communication skills, are organised, responsive and service-oriented
You are fluent in English and ideally in German as well
Experience with Workday or Jira is a plus
