My client, an expanding not for profit organisation, are looking to recruit a Payroll, Compensation & Benefits Specialist, initially on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract to be based in Preston. You will take responsibility for and become the first point of contact for any payroll, benefits or pension queries from the business.

 

You will be responsible for collating all data for UK and international payrolls totalling 600 employees, for submission to the outsourced bureau and meet agreed deadlines for key milestones such as monthly pay runs and year-end accounts, P11Ds, P60s etc. You will be responsible for processing all starters, leavers, changes and relevant deductions for both the payroll and pensions schemes. You will process all and any absences such as sickness, maternity leave or jury services. Reconciling the payrolls at the end of the year.

You will be responsible for the input and process of benefits schemes such as; childcare vouchers/cycle to work/season ticket loan/pension scheme, along with statutory deductions. You will process bonus payments, produce monthly reports and take responsibility of the pension scheme. You will work along the HR Director to manage annual salary reviews and personally own the gender pay gap report.

 

This is a great opportunity for a hands on payroll, compensation & benefits specialist with experience running payrolls via bureau services, to join a not for profit and add immediate value. My client needs someone with experience working in a fast paced and varied role, ideally with experience managing international payrolls.We are looking for someone with the good excel ability to produce/analyse statistical reports such as Gender Pay Gap/Salary Reviews.

The successful candidates will have significant experience managing stakeholder relationships and possess excellent communication skills. As this is a stand alone role, it is advantageous if you have experience working independently, have the confidence to act on your own initiative and meet key deadlines.
