A world leading technology organisation is looking for an experienced HR Risk & Compliance Specialist to support their continued and rapid expansion. They will be part of a global team responsible for managing compliance programmes that include assessing and monitoring key HR and employment related risks in countries where the business is currently operating or wishes do business.
This role will focus on assessing the risk and providing compliance advice and regulation for the business's activities in new or existing countries with small employee populations and niche operations. They will work alongside the wider HR function, business and legal teams to manage complex employment requirements, researching legal and regulatory obligations in relation to employment, translating obligations into system or process requirements and establishing compliance triggers developing plans to mitigate risk.
The Senior Manager's responsibilities will include researching and performing HR compliance reviews for individual countries and developing mechanisms and procedures to identify HR risk. Working with global expansion teams to develop, document and monitor compliant service delivery models for new countries. Partnering with internal systems team to develop the technology infrastructure needed to support ongoing compliance monitoring efforts. Draft communications in relation to obligations, risk analyses, and recommendations to HR policy, process, and system owners and senior stakeholders. Conduct on-site and virtual risk (incl. inventory) and control assessments and draft reports to detail findings, potential solutions and recommendations.
The ideal candidate will have extensive HR, Compliance and/or Risk Management experience and will have operated within a global environment with exposure to a wide range of country employment legislation. They must build strong and effective global relationships and be able to adapt quickly to a demanding and high-growth environment. Proven analytical capabilities, experience handling large amounts of data and ability to procure effective reporting is key.
