Frazer Jones have been retained on a fascinating 2 year fixed term, fulltime role to be based in Sydney or Melbourne, CBD, (visa and relocation costs provided), for a Senior Manager, Executive Remuneration in the People and Culture team. Reporting directly in to the Director of Global Reward, this role will be responsible for a variety duties across multiple jurisdictions, including Australia, Asia, US, mainland Europe and the UK. Supporting a client group of around 500 and fast growing, this is a strong high touch and family feel environment that will allow you to not only provide subject matter information to senior stakeholders, but also give the opportunity to build long-lasting and fruitful relationships, both internally and externally.
In this exciting and varied position, you will have the autonomy to facilitate and run executive compensation, inclusive of preparing and supporting board papers, incentive design schemes, whilst also proposing and facilitating new remuneration programs. You will also be responsible for managing and providing advice on the regulatory landscape inclusive of MIFID II, AIFMID and BEAR to ensure compliance standards are met and maintained. With a high number of RemCo's a year, you must ensure a stringent framework is adhered to, whilst having a strong attention to detail to deliver accurate statistics and reports. As new regulations are coming in to effect through 2020 and beyond, you must be able to keep up to date with all changes in governance and policy with regards to remuneration and be able to explain complex terminology simplistically to stakeholders of all seniority.
Experience in financial services in a reward and regulatory position is required, ideally touching on executive compensation and RemCo involvement. You must be able to showcase your analytical ability utilising tools such as Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint whilst being a strong communicator and presenter. You must be able to build and maintain strong relationships with a wide stakeholder group inclusive of HR, Finance, 3rd party providers, Investment Leads, Executive Directors and the Commercial Group globally. You will be an excellent team player, whilst being able to work independently and to strict deadlines. You will have undergone several compensation cycles and ideally started your career in a consultancy, providing remuneration advice to a wide array of clients (though not mandatory). You will lead by example, rolling up your sleeves to accomplish tasks whilst also being strategic to plan ahead for the year to come, foreseeing any potential challenges with regards to compensation before these challenges come to fruition. You will be diligent, hard working and sincere with a good sense of humour. Ideally you will be degree qualified with a Reward recognised accreditation such as World at Work.
